Call it alternative-country, folk, roots, etc. Rob Smith and Ken Workman are an Ottawa-based duo playing generous handfuls of some of the great singer-songwriters including Steve Earle, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Fred Eaglesmith and many more.
In 2009, Ken released a solo all-original CD effort with the help of legendary Rush and Blue Rodeo producer Terry Brown and has played repeat performances at Ottawa Bluesfest with his own style of roots-rock in the style of Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and Blue Rodeo.
Strong vocal harmonies and instrumentation make Smith & Workman an entertaining duo that will leave you wanting more!
